The Maltese is part of the Toy Group. In the AKC Most Popular Dog List in 2021 in the USA, the Maltese is #39. This breed may look like a China Doll that can break easy but don't believe it, under that coat of hair is a very sturdy dog. At a Show everyone loves to see this Dog trot around because it looks as if the long coat is sailing and floating. When the room claps the dog knows it is for him. This dog came from Malta, "Ye ancient dogge of Malta"  and has been around for centuries. Once sold for $2,000 in 1500's. AKC recognized in 1888.

This Maltese Novelty Sock from Wheel House Designs starts with a Black background with Medium Grey Lines that make Large Diamonds all over the Sock. Under the Cuff in Bold Grey Letters reads, "Maltese" on both sides of the Sock. Below the Breed Name are Portraits of the Maltese.  It shows the Maltese in Long Flowing White Hair with Light Grey for Outline and Shading. The Eyes and Nose are Black. On Top of the Forehead is a Light Blue Bow.  The Poses under the Portraits are a Stance for a Show with Tail Up.  Then of the Maltese sitting and Laying Down.
The Wheel House Designs Maltese on Black comes in two sizes, Medium and Large. This allows for an Extended Size for Women who may need it and for Men to have their own Dog Socks. This Sock is made with a Cozy Cotton Blend and is a Thin Style.
